Together We Remember: A Holocaust Learning Experience

Each year the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education (MCHE) sponsors a trip to the US Holocaust Museum entitled “Together We Remember”. This program is generously funded by Sam Devinki. This past November, four of our Confirmation students, Harper Witbrod, Haden Witbrod, Amelia Patton, and Greta Grossman participated in this unique pilgrimage. This youth program had a great impact on these students and they want to share their experience with the congregation.
On Friday, February 10, during Shabbat Services, these outstanding students will share their experiences with the congregation in an informal discussion facilitated by Rabbi Londy. We are proud of them and want to give them this forum to enlighten us on how our Jewish youth understand the meaning of the Holocaust, 78 years after the liberation of Auschwitz.
