Rabbi Levinsky Sermon: October 24
The rabbis taught that studying Torah is like walking through an orchard. Each level of learning—plain meaning, hint, interpretation, and mystery—offers a different kind of insight. This week, we look at one verse from the story of Noah that describes a world overcome by destructive thoughts. The Torah’s message is simple: our thoughts shape who we become. When we focus on kindness, honesty, and responsibility, we help repair the world around us. Shabbat reminds us that learning and self-awareness are the roots of a good and meaningful life.
