In-Person Worship

In-person Worship Is Returning to The New Reform Temple

The pandemic has made in-person worship unsafe. Our Temple has been vigilant in protecting our members from exposure to Covid 19. After much consideration, with our primary concern for the safety of our members, we will introduce limited in person worship. All worship services will continue to be streamed through Facebook, NRT’s website and YouTube channel.

Schedule for the month of October

Friday, October 15 @ 6:00 pm, we will be holding services in the canopy area behind St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Day School at 11th East 40th Street. [Directions: travel north on Main Street and take a right onto E. 40th street and then another right on to Walnut Street. The canopy area is across the street from the back of Church and Day School]

Friday, October 22, our worship will be accessible only through streaming.

Friday, October 29 @ 6:00 pm, we will be holding services in the Loose Park Pavilion.

For the outdoor services, all people attending must wear a mask. Prior reservations are required. We urge you to maintain appropriate social distancing.

Rabbi Levinsky Sermon: November 21

This Shabbat reminds us that connecting with God can begin in the most ordinary way. In Judy Blume’s Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, a young girl raised with no religion simply starts talking to God. No formal language, no special moment — just honesty. Jewish tradition teaches that a relationship with the divine often […]

Rabbi Levinsky Sermon: November 14

Anger is not something to banish; it’s something to understand. It appears when something we value has been violated—a sign that our hearts are still alive and responsive. The task is to let that fire illuminate rather than consume. When we pause before reacting, we create space for wisdom and compassion to enter. Shabbat invites […]
