Festival of Shavuot
Shavuot means "weeks". This Festival celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai to the Jewish people seven weeks after Passover. Every year on Shavuot, we renew our acceptance of God's gift to the Jews with an evening of study called "Tikkun L'eil Shavuot". The Tashlich and Family Service will be held at the Loose Park Pavilion. Welcome in the New Year with joy: family celebration with music, entertainment with Theatre of the Imagination/Miles McMahon providing a family friendly play "Be the Best Me", and casting our breadcrumbs into the water.
