Rabbi Levinsky Sermon: November 14
Anger is not something to banish; it’s something to understand. It appears when something we value has been violated—a sign that our hearts are still alive and responsive. The task is to let that fire illuminate rather than consume. When we pause before reacting, we create space for wisdom and compassion to enter. Shabbat invites us into that pause: a time to breathe deeply, to cool the heat of the week, and to let our inner flame burn steady. May this day bring calm strength, clear vision, and a heart spacious enough to hold its fire with peace.
