Rabbi Levinsky Sermon: February 13
The Importance of Community
Shabbat reminds us that Judaism is not practiced alone but together. In a world that pulls us toward isolation, community calls us back into relationship. We share prayer and care for each other. We celebrate one another’s joys and hold one another through sorrow. We learn across generations and act beyond our walls to repair what is broken. Community is not an accessory to Jewish life; it is its vessel. May this Shabbat strengthen the bonds that sustain us, deepen our sense of belonging, and remind us that none of us walks the path of life alone. Shabbat Shalom.
