Congratulations to New Reform Temple members Tom Isenberg and Carol Barnett for being named Philanthropists of the Year along with John Isenberg by Nonprofit Connect. Nonprofit Connect, a Kansas City organization that links the nonprofit community to education, resources and networking, will honor Tom and Carol along with John Isenberg during an awards luncheon on May 16.
Collectively, Tom, John and Carol have improved the lives of countless men, women and children in the metro area. Each individually provides outstanding leadership, countless hours of volunteer time, and significant financial resources to major organizations within the community; Tom to Synergy Services, Inc., John to the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City; and Carol to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. They have given and raised millions of dollars collectively throughout their philanthropic careers.
According to Nonprofit Connect, the Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is Kansas City’s oldest and largest celebration of giving. The funds raised at the luncheon on May 16 will allow Nonprofit Connect to continue to offer education, resources and networking so that area nonprofit organizations can more effectively achieve their missions.
