Reform Judaism believes that making informed ethical choices is central to Judaism? How does a Reform Jew make those personal decisions? How can Jewish traditional teachings assist us in making those ethical choices? Join with other synagogue members to explore the following questions:
Week One: Is removing a feeding tube from a dying patient permitted?
Week Two: Your daughter is pregnant. Under what circumstances should she have an abortion?
Week Three: Are we obligated to designate ourselves as organ donors?
Week Four: You are not on speaking terms with your parents. Must you still honor them?
If interest continues, this seminar will be offered again in the spring with the discussion of additional Jewish ethical questions.
Reservations are required as space is limited so please call or email the Temple office.
