Join The New Reform Temple for #ShowUpForShabbat
Friday night, November 2nd at 6:00 pm, The New Reform Temple is gathering for #ShowUpForShabbat, a special Shabbat Service of Mourning and Solidarity.
The New Reform Temple is calling upon its synagogue members—along with elected officials, religious and civic leaders, and other communal allies—to flock to The New Reform Temple, as part of this nationwide #ShowUpForShabbat campaign initiated by the AJC.
11 Jews worshiping at Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh, PA were killed attending Sabbath Worship. This massacre was the worst Anti-Semitic event in American History. We worship together to honor their memories and to affirm our glorious American tradition of Freedom of Religion.
Our Interfaith community and its clergy will be present as well. We must ensure that love triumphs over hate, good over evil, unity over division. That’s our America.
Come to The New Reform Temple this Friday night at 6:00 pm, November 2nd, and take a stand. Bring your neighbors. The New Reform Temple synagogue community needs to worship together this Shabbat and we need our neighbors to stand together with us.
